For me, the blank page is the scary place. I much prefer to have something to work with. So whether you're someone who loves her vision, hates revision or just doesn't know anything about revision—this module aims to be an ongoing source of support.

Process Venn-Diagram
Print out one for each of the six YHAP stages and compare your drafting process to your revision process. The center is what you do for BOTH in that stage. This means the center is where you lean toward the most in your overall process.
This is your You Have A (Revision) Process Mindmap.
While your original YHAP mindmap will absolutely be of service (fill out a revision version for yourself), this one adds in a few elements that often aren’t present in the drafting process that I mentioned in the lecture.
Here is the example Revision Mind-map, with my own process filled in.

Coming Soon:
A few years ago I interviewed a number of authors on their revision process, back when I was preparing for a revision retreat I was leading. I’m compiling them and will post them here when they’re done. I’ll email everyone in the course when they’re ready. Stay tuned! 🥸
See if you can sit with the discomfort of this place in your process. What would it look like to be comfortable with this uncertainty?
