client love

I think I was looking for a quick fix, but I am so glad I chose the mentorship option. It allowed us to do a deep dive into my process and writing routine, as well as make a meaningful exploration into the characters and themes at the heart of my story.

I first met Heather through Whale Rock Workshops, when I took her course on Bingeable Chapters. The course was not only well-structured and packed with valuable information, but Heather was a fantastic instructor! So, when I got stuck revising my first novel, she was the one person I turned to for help.

My initial impulse was to engage Heather to do a full novel critique, but based on her work with other clients, she instead suggested a 6-month mentorship. I think I was looking for a quick fix, but I am so glad I chose the mentorship option. It allowed us to do a deep dive into my process and writing routine, as well as make a meaningful exploration into the characters and themes at the heart of my story.

My mentorship with Heather took my revision in totally unexpected directions -- but the result was so much stronger than I ever could have imagined. I am deeply grateful for the work I did with Heather, and I highly recommend her services!
