Heads up! Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness month, so I'm kicking things into high gear, talking to teens and adults about the issues I dig into with Bad Romance. I'll be reposting some of the blogs I'm writing elsewhere here, but be sure to check out my events page for all the details. I'll be taking over the Day One blog--they're an organization that gives legal aid to teens in abusive relationships, and they work hard to educate teens on what makes a relationship healthy. You can get involved in their TDV campaign, too (see below). If you're a survivor, I think you'll appreciate the programming they've got going on. Let me know if there are any specific things you'd like me to touch on in these blogs for Day One. We'll be focusing a lot on how to tell people about your bad romance and get the help you need.

If you haven't heard it yet, I did an interview about Bad Romance where we talk the serious stuff, but also all thing theatre on Overdrive's Professional Book Nerd Podcast. That was great fun, so I hope you like it, too.

For you writers out there, don't forget to check out my main blog, Mindfulness for Writers. I don't talk about my books per se--it's all about the integration of mindfulness, meditation, and craft. I've started doing guided meditations you can check out on there, as well.

That's it for now! I hope you're all having a fabulous 2018 so far.
